Head on over to bandjob.com and check out the poster contest they have going on. They came up with a fictional concert with a fictional band, Foresaken Waste, that needs a gig poster. Anyone is welcome to participate, using any design style you want. The winner receives 2 unreleased posters from The Black Axe. This was a fun exercise to be a part of. Always nice to keep your skill sets sharp. I decided to go with a retro 60s styled design.

WMC Fest was this past weekend (www.wmcfest.com). I had a great time. Saw some great bands and met some amazing artists and designers. At the event I was selling some exclusive posters and I still have some available.

They’re 19×25, 2 color screen printed on 100lb stock, signed and numbered by yours truly in a limited run of 75. $17 shipped in the US in a poster tube. The date is fast approaching that I will be at WMC Fest (www.wmcfest.com) as one of their featured “Weapons Of Mass Creation”. This is shaping up to be quite an event with all sorts of amazing artists, bands and films from a variety of genres. If you’re free on May 22 and/or 23, come out an show your support.
